BassMasters 2000

Bassmasters 2000 is a fishing simulation game for Nintendo 64 with four distinct modes and extensive customization options. Players can create and save up to seven anglers, adjusting details such as sex, hair, face, clothing, and other statistics.

Customization

• Lake Conditions: Set the lake location, season, weather, and time.
• Boat: Choose the boat model and engine.
• Tackle: Configure the rod and reel, line, lure, and related equipment.

Game Modes

• Exhibition: The only mode with every customization option available. Catch enough fish for their combined weight to meet or exceed the target set at the start.
• Tournament: Compete across six tournaments, each lasting three days. Daily catches are measured by total weight, with rankings awarded based on performance. Finishing fifth or higher after the final tournament unlocks new equipment and boats.
• Speed Fishing: Start with three minutes and catch as many of the specified fish as possible. Heavier catches extend the timer by one second, allowing the session to continue longer.
• Casting Game: Cast at colored target circles positioned around the lake within the time limit. Successful hits earn points, and sufficiently high scores provide additional time while changing the target patterns.
