About this game

Battle 1917 is a turn-based strategy game for one or two players, set against the technological backdrop of World War I and the first use of tanks.

Players command 29 units across five types: infantry, cavalry, tanks, artillery and a king. Each unit has different statistics, while the objective is to defeat the opposing king—the weakest and slowest piece on the board.

Every new game generates a random 21x32-square map featuring wires, forests, rivers and units.
