About this game
Battle Arena Toshinden 2 is the first sequel to Battle Arena Toshinden, expanding the roster from 10 to 15 fighters with three new starting characters, three new bosses, and hidden characters.
Gaia returns as an un-armoured fighter with a completely new move set. Every character gains additional special attacks, along with running attacks and ground attacks that can strike opponents on the floor. The game also introduces powerful Overdrive attacks, which require filling a bar through other attacks before they can be used.
Released on December 29, 1995, the game was developed by Tamsoft and published by Takara for Arcade, PC (Microsoft Windows), and PlayStation.
