Battle Beyond the Stars

Battle Beyond the Stars is a shooter developed and published by Solar Software for the Amstrad CPC. Set in 2052, it casts the player as Captain King aboard the SSF1D CUTLASS as the Proxima War begins.

After an alien fleet is detected near Alpha Centauri, the mission is to destroy wave after wave of heavily armed spacecraft. The game is described as a particularly challenging Galaxian clone.
