Battle Chess II: Chinese Chess

Battle Chess II: Chinese Chess is a sequel to Battle Chess that adapts the series’ animated presentation to a Chinese variation of chess. Its board and rules differ from European chess, featuring pieces such as Counsellors, Ministers, and Cannons in place of familiar counterparts like the Queen and Bishop.

The objective remains to checkmate the opposing king. When two pieces contest the same space, the game presents a Battle Chess-style animated battle. Released in 1989, it was developed by Interplay Productions and Silicon & Synapse, Inc. for Amiga and DOS.
