Battle Flip Shot

Battle Flip Shot is a futuristic arcade sports game from Visco, released in 1997. While its foundation resembles Pong, players control humans wielding large shields in arenas set during the first half of the 22nd century.

Gameplay

Players deflect a ball with their shields, aiming it at columns of targets positioned along the side walls. Hitting a target removes it and awards points to the opposing player. To win a round, a player must eliminate all of the opponent’s targets while keeping at least one of their own.

Rounds are timed. If neither side achieves the objective before time expires, the player with more targets remaining wins. An equal number of remaining targets results in both sides receiving a win.
