About this game

Battle for Midway combines arcade, shooter, and strategy gameplay in a World War II Pacific naval scenario. You command Task Force 16, featuring the carriers Enterprise and Hornet, and Task Force 17, featuring Yorktown.

Your objective is to destroy or drive off the Japanese carrier divisions while preventing them from capturing Midway Island. When the island or your task force comes under attack, you personally operate the guns, shooting down incoming aircraft until they retreat or your gun is destroyed.
