Battle Heat!

Battle Heat! is a fighting game set in a harsh world where the Republic of Kriph clashes with the Holy Dark Empire. Players can choose from four characters in either clan, though battles are fought against members of the opposing side.

Its defining feature is the use of full-motion anime-style sequences for every move. Each controller button triggers a specific action, including jumping, with additional sequences depicting reactions and counterattacks.

The game includes a Republic of Kriph tournament mode and a free battle mode that allows players to fight as the Holy Dark Empire. It was developed and published by Hudson Soft Company, Ltd. and released for PC-FX on December 23, 1994.
