About this game
Battle of Britain puts you in command of RAF Fighter Command during the pivotal air battle of World War II. Choose a single day with light or heavy enemy activity, or undertake a full campaign beginning on 20 August 1940 and lasting up to 30 days.
The map covers southern Great Britain and part of France, including airfields, radar stations, and cities. Manage 18 fighter squadrons and scramble them to intercept detected Luftwaffe raids. Each day concludes with a loss tally and a screen for allocating reinforcements.
Optional action sequences let you fly a Spitfire in a dogfight or operate an anti-aircraft gun. The anti-aircraft sequence is not available on ZX Spectrum.
