About this game

In Beach-Head, a dictator has seized a fortress on the island of Kuhn-Lin. The player's objective is to storm the island and reclaim it through a series of military action sequences.

Gameplay

  1. Aerial Reconnaissance: Move the fleet past enemy forces or discover a hidden passage.
  2. Hidden Passage: An optional sequence requiring the player to avoid mines and torpedoes. Success provides an advantage in the next stage.
  3. General Quarters: Operate anti-aircraft guns to shoot down enemy aircraft.
  4. Battle Stations: Fire heavy guns at enemy ships before they damage and sink the player's vessels.
  5. Beach-Head: Maneuver tanks toward the beach while protecting them from enemy fire and obstacles.
  6. Final Battle: Fire on 10 targets within the fortress to destroy it and defeat the dictator.

The Commodore 16 and Plus/4 versions include the General Quarters, Battle Stations, and Final Battle sequences.
