Beaky and the Egg Snatchers

Beaky and the Egg Snatchers is a single-screen, side-view arcade game released in 1983 and published by Fantasy Software. Playing as Beaky, an Andromedan Armed Condor, you must protect eggs and raise the chicks while managing a magic bar.

Gameplay

Each level is divided into three phases:

• Egg Collecting: Shoot Eggsnatchers carrying eggs, catch the dropped eggs, and place them in the nest.
• Egg Brooding: Keep the nest warm while defending the eggs from snowflakes, droplets, nitrogen bombs, and the Froogle.
• Chick Rearing: Collect flying worms to feed the chicks while protecting the nest from bombs.

Beaky can spit projectiles to destroy creatures and hazards, but contact with enemies reduces the magic bar. Completing all three phases advances to a harder level.
