About this game

Beam is a puzzle action game in which players move around the playfield and bump into energy stations to link them together. The last two stations touched are connected by a red energy beam that is deadly on contact.

Each of the 27 levels is completed when every station has been linked. Obstacles include magnets, high-gravity zones that affect the craft’s movement, and moving balls that must be avoided.

The game offers two control modes: direct control and rotational control similar to Asteroids. It was developed and published by Magic Bytes for Amiga, Atari ST, Atari ST/STE, and Commodore C64/128/MAX.
