About this game

Beatle Quest is a text adventure created with The Quill. Set in 2953, you play as a Keeper of the Archives preserving knowledge of Ancient Earth while space pioneers search for a New Earth.

During your research, you discover the Four Kings of EMI and enter a computer simulation of a Beatles-influenced 1960s Liverpool. The adventure spans 150 locations and features people and places inspired by Beatles songs, including Maxwell and Penny Lane.

Food and drink are important to your progress, as you must keep your health up while exploring. The game was developed by Garry Marsh and published by Number 9 Software in 1984 for Commodore C64/128/MAX and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
