Behind Enemy Lines

Behind Enemy Lines is a first-person rail shooter produced by Sega. Players control a machine gun mounted on a jeep as it automatically travels through enemy territory across four missions focused on infiltrating and destroying enemy facilities.

Gameplay centers on aiming a crosshair and firing a machine gun with bullets and missiles. Ammunition is replenished by destroying crates, while missiles automatically lock onto eligible heavy targets such as tanks and helicopters. Fuel drums can also be collected; running out of fuel results in a score penalty.

The game features modern military enemies including foot soldiers, jeeps, humvees, tanks, and helicopters. One or two players can take part, with each player controlling a machine gun.
