About this game

Beneath a Steel Sky is a point-and-click adventure set in a futuristic Australia divided between corporate-owned cities and the wasteland known as The Gap.

After soldiers from Union City capture Robert Foster and destroy his tribe, a helicopter crash gives him a chance to escape. Alongside his droid, Joey, Robert explores the decaying city while navigating tensions between its wealthy residents and frustrated poor. Their search ultimately leads to the dark truth behind LINC, the computer that runs Union City.

Gameplay

The game uses the Virtual Theatre engine, allowing characters to move independently of the player's actions and creating a more dynamic world. Its core gameplay combines traditional point-and-click exploration with puzzles.
