Beyond the Ice Palace

Beyond the Ice Palace is a fantasy platform game set in a land threatened by dark spirits. The forests are burning, woodcutters have lost their homes and livelihoods, and a sacred arrow offers the means to challenge the powers of darkness.

Gameplay

Run, jump, and duck through a horizontally scrolling landscape while avoiding creatures and their attacks. A range of weapons can be collected, from a knife to a fireball. Each weapon has different effects, and some enemies require multiple hits to defeat.

Two Spirits of the Forest accompany the player. When activated, they sacrifice themselves to weaken or destroy enemies currently on screen. Additional spirits and bonus icons are scattered throughout the land, with the icons increasing the player's points.
