About this game

Big Striker is a Jaleco soccer game released in 1991 for arcade platforms. Matches are viewed from an isometric perspective on a horizontally oriented field that scrolls in all directions.

The controls support charged passes whose height and length depend on button pressure, lofted balls, long clearances, crosses near the penalty area, and first-time shots that vary with the ball’s height. A third button performs skill moves such as bicycles, cuauhtemiñas, and double steps, temporarily helping the player evade sliding challenges.

Eight teams and seven levels are available. When play approaches the opposing area, a side view of the team bench can appear, with teammates encouraging the team and suggesting a cross when the player is positioned near a flank. Rain and other weather conditions can also occur.
