About this game

Bill's Tomato Game is a mouse-controlled puzzle game with gameplay similar to the Incredible Machine series. Each non-scrolling screen presents a new challenge: guide an anthropomorphic tomato from the left side to a conveyor belt on the right while avoiding hazards that can squish, perforate, explode, or destroy it.

Players have an unlimited supply of tomatoes, but each puzzle is governed by a timer. A semaphore at the bottom of the screen starts and stops the tomato, while other objects continue moving according to their own timing. Solving each level involves selecting and placing gadgets strategically.

  • Electric fan: Boosts and changes the tomato's trajectory.
  • Trampoline: Bounces the tomato to greater heights.
  • Jack-In-The-Box: Ejects the tomato upward.
  • Blocking box: Stops the tomato's movement.

Released in 1992, the game was developed by Psygnosis and Tempest Software and published by Psygnosis for Amiga, Commodore Amiga, and Sega Genesis.
