About this game

Bionic Breakthrough is an unreleased Atari 2600 action game developed by Paul Donaldson and published by Atari (USA). It was one of only two games designed for the MindLink controller, a headband that connected to the joystick port and attempted to detect facial movements or muscle twitches.

The game includes a calibration screen in which the word “MindLink” scrolls downward. Players could move the text block left and right to check whether the controller was working. The main game is described as essentially Super Breakout with a title screen, leaving its intended status as a demonstration or standalone product uncertain.
