A third-person flight adventure through a strange sci-fi world

The briefing

About this game

Birdie puts you in control of a flying bird navigating a surreal sci-fi world filled with robots, carnivorous plants, parachutes, raptors, lasers, butterflies, barbarians, and magical doors.

Control the bird's horizontal movement, altitude, descent, and wing flaps from a third-person view. Maintaining enough speed is essential: flapping helps you gain altitude, while diving increases speed. If your speed drops too low, gravity takes over.

The on-screen scoreboard tracks speed, altitude, time remaining before night, and life energy. Staying airborne at high altitude for too long can attract predators and drain energy, while eating butterflies restores it—with excessive consumption making the bird aggressive.

The journey begins in a forest and expands into dungeons and other dimensions reached through Magical Doors, with environments that change throughout the game.
