Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R brings the Sailor Guardians back into action against powerful new enemies. The story centers on Ail and An, alien siblings connected to the mysterious energy-devouring Makai Tree, while the Black Moon Clan and Prince Demande threaten the future Crystal Tokyo.

A mysterious pink-haired girl further complicates the Guardians’ mission when she demands the Legendary Silver Crystal and claims Mamoru for herself. The game also raises the possibility of a new Sailor Guardian.
