Bismarck: The North Sea Chase

Bismarck: The North Sea Chase is a multi-level naval simulator based on the hunt for the German battleship Bismarck following the sinking of HMS Hood on 24 May 1941.

Players can command either the Royal Navy or Bismarck, using a main map, air reconnaissance, weather forecasting, radar search, bridge command, damage control, anti-aircraft guns, heavy guns, and torpedo attacks. The game also includes a flight-simulator section in which players pilot a Fairey Swordfish torpedo plane from a carrier.

It features full joystick control, real-time action, and variable speed and difficulty levels. Published by Datasoft, it was released in 1987 for Amiga, Apple II, Atari 8-bit, Atari ST/STE, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and ZX Spectrum.
