Blast Lacrosse

Blast Lacrosse is an officially licensed indoor lacrosse game released for Sony PlayStation on May 23, 2001. Developed by Sandbox Studios and published by Acclaim Sports, it is based on the National Lacrosse League and includes all nine teams from its 15th season, along with their mascots.

The game combines licensed sports presentation with an arcade-inspired style similar to NBA Jam and NFL Blitz. Players who score a hat trick become “on fire,” improving their performance until the effect is stopped. The game also includes commentary from play-by-play announcer and sports radio host Scott Ferrall, advertisements for Shamrock Lacrosse and STX, and licensing from the Professional Lacrosse Players' Association.
