About this game

In Blockade Runner, an alien force is draining Earth's resources while enforcing a heavily armed blockade around the planet. The player commands a team of space-traders attempting to break through the blockade and deliver supplies essential to Earth's survival.

The journey begins with an alien-planted meteor storm and continues through a series of dangers. The game combines arcade shooting with the objective of making contact with a Terran blockade runner and successfully transferring its cargo.

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum version is notably different from the other versions, using a 2D side-scrolling environment instead of 3D presentation.
