Blockbuster World Video Game Championship II

Blockbuster World Video Game Championship II was the second Blockbuster Video Game Championship, held in 1995.

Competition Format

• Players competed in two age categories: up to 13 years old and 14 years old and over.
• Contestants chose to compete on the SNES or Genesis.
• Store Championship competitions ran from June 14 through July 9, followed by the WVGC Finals.
• Each store champion received two years of free game rentals, covering two games per month.
• The best eleven players won a trip to San Francisco for the final competition in August at GamePro headquarters.
