Blood Bowl

Blood Bowl is a dark fantasy take on American football, where teams of 11 players battle for touchdowns in violent matches. Based on the Living Rulebook 5.0 ruleset, it features eight races with distinct strengths and weaknesses, including fast but fragile Goblins, versatile Humans, and powerful but slow Orcs.

Team Management and Campaigns

Players can jump into fast matches with pre-defined teams or build a team from scratch in the campaign. Team management includes recruiting players, negotiating sponsor contracts, purchasing potions, and using other illicit methods such as bribing referees. Players gain experience from touchdowns and taking down opponents, then learn new skills when they level up.

Two Ways to Play

• Turn-based mode: Closely follows the tabletop format, with eight rounds per half, turnover events, and manual dice rolls.
• Real-time mode: Allows orders to be issued to multiple players, with dice rolls and skill checks handled behind the scenes.
• Concentration mode: Pauses real-time play so moves can be planned without pressure.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer options include turn-based hot-seat matches and open or private worldwide online leagues. Players can create up to 32 teams for league play.
