About this game

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is a top-down action adventure featuring Kain, a vampire whose health steadily drains as he struggles with an insatiable craving for blood.

Kain can withstand sunlight but is harmed by water. He can acquire cursed abilities and spells that let him transform into a bat, wolf, or cloud of mist, and can disguise himself from creatures with weaker minds. After defeating enemies, he may drink their blood to restore his health.

Different weapons and armor provide unique properties, supporting Kain’s violent campaign. Developed by Silicon Knights and published by Crystal Dynamics, the game was released in 1996 for PC (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita.
