Arcade flight combat over the battlefields of World War I

About this game

Blue Max casts you as fictional British flying ace Max Chatsworth, whose exploits earn him the nickname “Blue Max.” Take off on sorties against assigned targets, including enemy aircraft, bridges, buildings, tanks, anti-aircraft batteries, vehicles, and ships.

Ground attacks depend on carefully timed bombing runs. Dive toward targets, release your bomb, and pull up before impact; mistiming the maneuver or starting too low can destroy your plane. The game offers adjustable control types, skill levels, and gravity settings.

You have only one life. After your plane is destroyed or a mission is completed, you receive a rank ranging from Kamikaze Trainee to Squadron Leader. New missions become available as targets are eliminated.
