Body Blows

Body Blows is a one-on-one fighting game released in 1992 by Team17. Its design emphasizes one-button controllers, with directional special moves triggered by pressing fire and a more powerful move activated by holding the button.

Gameplay

In single-player mode, players can choose from four characters: brothers Dan and Nik, the Buddhist monk Lo-Ray, and the failed boxer Junior. Dan and Nik share the same fighting style. Success depends on combining regular attacks and special moves effectively.

Fighters and Arenas

The opponents include a ninja warrior, a businessman known for saying “I'm sorry about that” after a fight, and a thin Spanish girl. Matches take place across colorful, animated backdrops including wrestling rings, building sites, and beaches.

Body Blows is available for Amiga, Commodore CDTV, and DOS.
