About this game

Border Zone is a text adventure set during the height of the Cold War. In the fictional town of Ostnitz, located between the Eastern Bloc nation of Frobnia and neutral Litzenburg, a plot to assassinate the visiting US ambassador threatens to intensify tensions between the superpowers.

The game unfolds across three chapters, each following a different protagonist: an American businessman, a Western special agent, and an Eastern special agent. Alongside traditional text-based exploration and puzzle-solving, it features real-time elements in which time continues to pass while the player is inactive. Timing is especially important during stealth-focused sequences.
