Bored of the Rings

Bored of the Rings is a humorous interactive fiction adventure inspired by classic fantasy quest stories. Players guide Fordo the Boggit as he attempts to return the Great Ring to Mount Doom, aided by Spam, Pimply and Murky and joined by characters including Bumbadil, Hashberry, Legoland the Elf, Giblet the Dwarf and Aragont.

The game uses graphics created with Quill and supports VERB NOUN commands for taking and using items. Players can also talk to characters. The adventure is divided into three parts, accessed with passcodes, and the tape includes the first issue of Sceptical, Delta 4's short-lived magazine on tape.
