Bottom of the 9th ’97 brings professional baseball to the PlayStation with over 700 MLBPA-licensed major league players, career statistics, and motion-captured animations. Games take place across 15 stadiums, with Exhibition and Training modes for quick play.

The Scenario mode creates high-pressure situations, such as facing a three-run deficit with the bases loaded and two outs. Season, Playoff, and Championship modes offer longer-form baseball experiences, while the cursor-based batting and pitching system adds precision to every at-bat and pitch.
