About this game

Brian the Lion is an action platformer released in 1993 for Amiga systems, including Amiga CD32. You play as Brian, a lion resembling the Paddle Pop mascot, on a mission to rescue his friend Chris the Crystal, who has been kidnapped by Geeza the Dragon.

Gameplay

Run through each level and defeat enemies by clawing them or jumping on their heads. Collect crystals along the way and spend them in the shop on upgrades such as extra lives, credits, heavenly hit points, jinormous jumps, really raj roars, and splendid speed.

Levels include secret areas, including routes that differ from the standard path to the exit. Progress requires completing certain levels, though completed stages can be revisited. Each level has a time limit; running out of time means losing the level-completion bonus and access to one of three selectable bonus levels.
