Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena

Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena combines role-playing with turn-based war simulation. Players choose one of five Knights of the Rune and defend a region of Forsena.

From the strategy map, commanders organize attack forces, equip weapons, review statistics, and move in search of enemy soldiers. Battles unfold on hexagonal terrain, with movement and actions determined by character limits.

Combat includes rune assaults, magic, bows, blunt weapons, and swords. The available leaders include Lance, a young prince defending New Almekia and Late Badostow; Lyonesse, defender of Leonia; and Vaynard, who commands the White Wolf warriors in the northlands.
