Broken Sword 2.5: The Return of the Templars is an unofficial, fan-created entry in the Broken Sword series. Developed and released by German company MindFactory, the point-and-click adventure was released as freeware for Microsoft Windows on September 28, 2008, and is also associated with ScummVM.

The story takes place between Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror and Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon. After receiving a telegram claiming that Nicole Collard is dead, George Stobbart travels to Paris, where he discovers Nico is alive but behaving unexpectedly. A conversation with Andre Lobineau raises the possibility that the Neo-Templars may still exist.
