Buffers Evolution

Buffers Evolution is a platform-racing game set in a post-apocalyptic future where animal-and-machine androids compete in dangerous scrap-metal courses. Players choose between three bestial androids based on a bird, lion, or rhinoceros.

The objective is to complete each course, collect ten parts, and achieve the best possible time. Courses span jungles, deserts, abandoned factories, and mechanical wastelands enclosed by electricity.

At the press of a button, the character briefly transforms into a sharp metallic “buffer.” Colliding with enemies in this form can destroy them and bounce the character toward higher ledges. The game features Sonic-like platforming, but focuses on improving course times rather than beating a countdown.
