Bug Attack

Bug Attack is a colorful arcade shooter in which a spider battles waves of dagger-throwing ants, millipedes, and med flies. Although its presentation resembles Centipede, its enemy patterns and progression play differently.

Gameplay

The opening waves take place in a desert filled with cacti. Ants move between the plants and attack when the spider is beneath them, followed by a millipede that advances row by row while ignoring obstacles. The third wave features med flies moving in formation; if they are not defeated quickly, they split off and rain daggers across the screen.

Completing the final wave awards bonus points based on remaining fuel and leads to a brief bug-themed interlude. Later levels revisit the action in a clover patch and flower garden with increased difficulty, along with additional bonus levels. After the flower garden, the game returns to the desert with larger and more challenging enemy forces.
