About this game

Builderland: The Story of Melba follows Melba, an easy-going guitar player whose girlfriend is kidnapped by a powerful villain. After discovering a map to the kidnapper’s lair, Melba sets out on a perilous journey.

Although its side-scrolling presentation suggests a traditional platform game, Builderland is primarily a puzzle experience. Melba usually walks forward automatically, leaving the player to construct safe paths, manage enemies, and prevent his untimely demise by collecting and positioning items such as boxes, weapons, and platforms. In select encounters, the player can also defeat boss enemies by throwing specific objects.
