About this game

Burning Road is an arcade racing game for PlayStation, influenced by Daytona USA. Players choose from four vehicles—two muscle cars, a drag car, and a monster truck—each with different strengths and weaknesses.

Racing and Courses

Races take place across three environments: a wooded area, city streets, and a snow-covered area. A reverse variation of the tracks can also be unlocked. Drivers must finish ahead of their opponents while passing checkpoints to extend the constantly depleting timer.

Modes and Features

  • Practice: Select a track and race against several opponents.
  • Career: Compete in multi-heat events where the last-place driver is eliminated after each completed lap.
  • Multiplayer: Two players can compete using the PlayStation Link Cable.

Three difficulty levels are available, along with first- and third-person camera angles and a full replay mode.
