Burning Rubber

Burning Rubber is a racing game in which you drive through Europe and America in a variety of cars. Each level features a visual background reflecting its location.

Although each route is mapped in advance, surrounding roads are also presented, allowing you to choose how closely to follow the planned course. Computer-controlled racers can deviate from the route as well, making navigation part of the competition.

Collisions cause damage that must be repaired after a race, so earning prize money is important. The game was developed by Harlequin and published by Ocean Software Ltd. for Amiga and Atari ST/STE.
