Bushido Blade

Bushido Blade is a distinctive fighting game from Square, released on September 30, 1997. It removes health bars, special meters, and similar conventional mechanics, allowing a battle to be decided by a single successful strike.

Players choose from six ninja characters, each with different fighting styles and attributes, then select from eight weapons. The arsenal includes Japanese swords, European blades, a naginata, and a sledgehammer. The game is associated with a more realistic approach to combat and is available on PlayStation, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable.
