Bushido: The Way of the Warrior

Bushido: The Way of the Warrior is an action-adventure beat ’em up released in 1989 for the Commodore 64 and Commodore C64/128/MAX. Developed by Graftgold Ltd. and published by Firebird Software, the game challenges players to assault a fortress using a selection of characters, including a monk and a Samurai warrior.

Each character offers different strengths, from hand-to-hand combat power to guile and cunning. Players can use varied weaponry and may find that stealth brings greater rewards than direct combat. A magical belt can return a severely endangered warrior to base, where extra skills can be retrained before another assault.
