Cabela's Alaskan Adventures

Cabela's Alaskan Adventures combines hunting, fishing, and dog sledding across twelve Alaskan regions. Create a hunter and choose from three difficulty settings before taking on either quick activities in Open Season or the broader progression-focused Adventure mode.

Gameplay

In Adventure mode, travel between regions, visit outposts, obtain clothing and tents, unlock new areas and gear, and compete in hunts, fishing challenges, and special contests. Trophies can be earned for prize catches.

Hunting supports rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders, handguns, and bows, along with binoculars, scopes, calls, decoys, scents, and lures. Wildlife includes Kodiak bears, musk ox, barren ground caribou, mountain goats, coyotes, beavers, and birds.

Fishing activities include ice fishing, spin fishing, and fly fishing. Choose from various rods and reels, then use suitable bait and lures to pursue salmon, Arctic grayling, and other Alaskan species.
