Capcom Sports Club is a multi-sport arcade game built around three tournament-style events: tennis, soccer, and basketball. Each sport supports solo play or competition between two players.
Sports and Events
- Smash Stars: A knockout tennis tournament featuring players from 16 countries. Competitors have different strengths and weaknesses across eight categories. Matches begin at 4–4 and last one set, with a tiebreak played if needed.
- Kick Stars: A knockout soccer tournament with eight selectable countries. Each five-player team has a goalkeeper, four field players, and a specialty such as counterattacking, defensive, balanced, or offensive play. Matches last two minutes, or three minutes in two-player games. Winning the tournament unlocks a bonus match against the Star team.
- Dunk Stars: A knockout basketball tournament with eight selectable countries. Three-player teams use combinations of center, guard, shooter, and forward types. Matches last two minutes, or three minutes in two-player games.
Developed and published by Capcom, the game was released for arcade platforms in 1996.
