Cars 2

Cars 2 is an adventure racing game based on the Disney and Pixar movie. Players take on the role of a C.H.R.O.M.E. agent and compete in events using characters from the Cars franchise.

Mission mode features missions unlocked by reaching required clearance levels. Completing missions awards points used to gain higher clearance levels, along with badges and new characters.

Racing and Game Modes

Races include drifting, jumping, driving backward or on two wheels, and energy-powered turbo boosts. Selected tracks also feature spy gadgets such as missiles, machine guns, and oil patches.

• Regular Race: Compete to finish first.
• Battle Race: Race while using spy gadgets.
• Hunter: Eliminate waves of enemies.
• Attack: Take down a fleeing opponent before time expires.
• Survival: Collect batteries to avoid a satellite beam.
• Battle Arena: Score the most hits in multiplayer combat.
• Disruptor: Defend a base in multiplayer.

The game was released in 2011 for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and Sony PSP. It was developed by Disney Interactive Studios and Firebrand Games, and published by Avalanche Software and Disney Interactive Studios.
