Cart World Series

CART World Series brings licensed Championship Auto Racing Teams competition to PlayStation, featuring drivers from the 1996–1997 CART period, including Al Unser Jr., Bobby Rahal, and Gil de Ferran. Honda and Ford cars are included, with each driver receiving a distinct car.

Cars can be adjusted through tire choices, gear-system changes, and aerodynamic tuning. Tire wear and fuel consumption make pit stops an important part of longer races. Ten official CART tracks are represented, including circuits in Cleveland, Michigan, and Long Beach.

The season mode includes qualifying and championship racing, while Arcade and Simulation track individual racer statistics. Two players can compete using split-screen or a Link Cable.
