CarVup

CarVup is a platform game released in 1989 for Amiga and Atari ST systems. Players control Arnie, a cartoon-like car that jumps between platforms while avoiding enemies.

Each level requires Arnie to drive over every platform, changing or completing parts of the environment in the process. For example, in a construction zone, driving over platforms fills the holes in girders with rivets. Once all platforms have been covered, a helicopter carries Arnie to the next level.

Levels are limited by time. If the limit is reached, the demon-like Turbo is released and homes in on Arnie within 15 seconds, costing a life. After every three levels, Arnie rescues an animal friend before continuing to the next themed area.
