Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Five years after Richter Belmont defeated Dracula, Richter disappears and CastleVania mysteriously returns. Maria sets out to find him, while Alucard—the son of Dracula—awakens and enters the castle seeking answers and a way to destroy it.

A direct sequel to Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, the game combines action-platforming with role-playing elements. Players freely explore the castle, discover items that open new paths, earn experience and levels by defeating enemies, collect money, purchase accessories, and equip weapons, shields, and other items. Magic, secondary weapons, and numerous special moves expand the combat system.
