About this game

Cathouse Blues is an adult-themed adventure game released for the Atari 2600 in 1982. The player must memorize which of seven houses the women enter, collect cash from a teller, and visit them for $20 each.

Each successful visit places the player in a bedroom, where they must score as many times as possible before being forced to leave. Police pursue the player, while a mugger threatens their money. Entering the wrong house temporarily immobilizes the player, leaving them vulnerable to the police.

The game was developed and published by Playaround. Its companion game, Gigolo, switches the roles of the men and women.
