A prehistoric action-platform adventure across nine dangerous islands

The briefing

About this game

Cavemania is an action-platform game released in 1989. You play as Ug the Caveman, who must explore nine islands and bring three pterodactyl eggs back to his cave one at a time without breaking them.

Each journey combines platforming and hazard avoidance. Ug must leap across rivers, dodge erupting volcanoes, and throw rocks at land-based predators. Contact with hazards or enemies costs energy, which can be replenished by collecting fruit.

After delivering all three eggs, Ug must collect wheels to travel onward to the next island.
